My wife and I had our Thompson Creek windows installed on Thursday 12 April, 2012. I intended to write to you before now to express our complete satisfaction with your Thompson Creek product and installation, but delayed until I had one other opinion. Yesterday, an individual who really is an expert on the installation of home products but who normally does not hesitate to tell us how badly we had been 'taken in' by less than satisfactory salesmen or products came by to help us install the window shades and brackets. I was halfway expecting him to tell us again how his windows were superior to ours, that his installation was better, and/or how he had gotten a better price. I was exceptionally surprised to see and hear his reaction to our Thompson Creek windows. He was truly flabbergasted at what we had. He could not get over the quality of the windows and their installation at the price we paid! He did not hesitate to say we had much better windows than he had, that our installation was superior to his, and that we had paid a very reasonable price for what we received. I was 'floored' by his reaction and repeated statements about the quality of our windows and the whole installation of 19 windows with a massive bow window (that had required removing framing right down to the actual brick opening) because for once he agreed with our opinions. My wife and I could not possibly be happier with your Thompson Creek product. I want to express our delight with our new windows and commend the whole team of installers. The only names I have are: Marc B. – Installer; John R. – Original PM; and the Installer team of Alex, Antonio, Nelson, Marcial, and Chae Y Bam. I cannot praise the quality of your windows highly enough, nor their installation. The installers are true craftsmen who took pride in doing a meticulously complete job, with every seam neatly insulated and calked and every piece of scrap material removed. My husband was up on a ladder every week getting the seeds out of our old gutters. He doesn't need to be on the ladder anymore, at an age of 75! They told us they would clean them out for us, and that sold us. I did a lot of shopping around too. I was paying less for more at Thompson Creek. It required very little effort on my part. At my age, I don't want to jump through hoops. That was nice. The price was great too. I called for my initial appointment and I called back to confirm my order, that was wonderful! The price was minimal. They offer a double lifetime guarantee! That just tickled me! I've had work done all throughout my life, being a homeowner. This was the easiest thing that I have ever done with my home! It was no problem at all! Everyone did a great job! The salesman didn't pressure us, and he was very honest. Both of us have seen a dramatic decrease in our electric bills and the inside temperature doesn't fluctuate as it did before. I never considered going with replacement windows other than wood ones since I originally had wood Andersen windows installed in our home when constructed in 1990. Your Rep. Eugene Reyes sold me on the vinyl windows which both my wife and I was overly impressed with the display window which Eugene demonstrated. I was also applauded by the knowledge and advice provided by Joe Meagher when he came out to take the measurements. He was instrumental in telling me about installing a LVL beam where we decided to add two additional new windows. This saved me a lot of work and time in preparation of the arrival of our new Thompson Creek windows. Most professional, orderly, and profound to my wife and I during this endeavor was the installation crew. I had a total of 36 windows installed and the process was slated to take two days. Mr. Ricardo and his crew of eight others arrived on site between 8:15 - 11:00 am. To our amazement, all 36 windows including a complete clean-up were in order by 5:30 pm, all the same day. We were so impressed with the installation crew that we provided lunch. Hats off to the whole Thompson Creek experience, you did a great job.
