As part of the evaluation process, Thompson Creek may request photographic documentation of the home using secure tools such as the Hover app to accurately assess project needs and installation feasibility.

This award is for replacement windows only, which will be installed into existing window frames. No cutouts or other structural modifications are included.

Recipients must permit Thompson Creek representatives reasonable access to the property for pre-installation assessments and final installation.

The home must be in suitable condition for installation (free from mold, rot, or structural damage). If repairs or remediation are needed, they must be completed at the recipient’s expense prior to installation.

Recipients must be available for a one-day pre-installation consultation and a one-day installation window, coordinated with Thompson Creek’s scheduling team. Installation must be scheduled within 30 days of award notification and completed within 6 months.

Thompson Creek reserves the right to decline installation at homes where conditions pose safety risks or fall outside standard scope.

7. Background Checks & Verification

Finalists may be subject to a background check. These checks are limited in scope and used solely to verify information and uphold the values of the program. By submitting an application, you authorize Thompson Creek Window Company to conduct any necessary checks or verifications if you are selected as a finalist. Thompson Creek reserves the right to disqualify any applicant at its sole discretion.

8. Taxes and Fees

An IRS Form 1099-MISC will be issued for the retail value of the awarded goods and services.

Recipients are encouraged to consult a tax advisor.
